The Industrial Fabrics Association International (IFAI) announced that multiple textile industry associations will conduct meetings at IFAI Expo 2008, giving their members the opportunity to take part in IFAI Expo as well as their association.
The National Textile Association (NTA), Textile Bag and Packaging Association (TBPA), the Textile Information Users Council (TIUC), as well as the Industrial Fabrics Association International will hold meetings with their board members and membership to review the state of their industry-creating a major opportunity to network with the powerhouses of the business.
IFAI Expo 2008 is the largest specialty fabrics trade show in the Americas, to be held at the Charlotte Convention Center in Charlotte, N.C., October 21-23.
IFAI Expo will attract major suppliers from all over the world, representing over 60 countries, and expects an estimated 450 exhibitors and 8,000 registered participants.
The National Textile Association (NTA) will hold their Board of Directors meeting October 20, one day prior to IFAI Expo 2008.
"The National Textile Association Government Textiles Committee is pleased to join with IFAI for this important three-day trade show and seminars event in Charlotte, N.C., October 21-23. Through this partnership, our valuable work on government procurement will be available to a large textile audience.
Our military and government guests will be able to meet with the representatives of every sector of the U.S. textile industry during our networking events and seminars," says National Textile Association Chairman Jim Robbins of Elastic Fabric of America. The National Textile Association is a strategic partner with IFAI Expo 2008.

Textile Bag and Packaging Association (TBPA) will hold their annual meeting and other activities throughout the IFAI Expo 2008 dates, October 20-22. The TBPA seeks to promote the use of textiles in packaging throughout the globe.
The Textile Information Users Council (TIUC) will hold their biannual meetings October 20-21 at IFAI Expo. TIUC is an association interested in the use of textile information. Members are research librarians from academic institutions, corporations, associations and vendors/publishers.
IFAI also welcomes the American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists (AATCC) and North Carolina State University as co-organizers of the Medical Textiles-Ingenious New Technologies symposium.
In addition to attending their organization's meetings, visitors will enjoy complimentary access to the IFAI Expo trade show and may register for its many educational and technical symposiums and networking events.
