BEIJING, June 10 (Xinhua) -- Eastern China's Jiangsu Province this year will pump more than 20 billion yuan into a series of waterway dredging projects, a lake embankment improvement project and a water diversion project for the flood-prone Huahe River.
These projects are anticipated to help raise grain output by 5 million tonnes in the river valley area.
