AMMAN, Aug. 15 (Xinhua) -- A total of 26 Chinese nationals suffered food poisoning early Sunday, with 25 were discharged from hospital later in the day and one still under treatment, according to medical sources.
Twenty-six Chinese nationals working at Al Hasan Industrial Estate located in the northern governorate of Irbid were taken to the state-run Ramtha Hospital Sunday after suffering food poisoning due to consuming spoiled food inside the estate, a source at the hospital told Xinhua Sunday.
"They were all in good conditions. Twenty five of them have left the hospital already and one of them will leave the hospital Monday morning as he is still vomiting," the source told Xinhua late Sunday.
Al Hassan Industrial Estate, which is the first Qualified Industrial Zone (QIZ) worldwide, was established in 1991 in Irbid.
