Subway station brawl injures 8

Five unlicensed taxi drivers were beaten by over 50 men reportedly working at a real estate office outside Gongyixiqiao station on the Subway Line 4 at around 4 pm Wednesday, reported the Beijing Times Thursday.
One of the injured drivers surnamed Ma told the paper that over 10 men outside the station assaulted him, while several of his friends, also illegal taxi drivers, were assaulted inside the subway station.
Staff at the real estate office said the drivers resorted to violence first while they were handing out flyers outside the subway station, reported the Beijing News. At least eight people were injured, reported the Beijing News Thursday.
