Green events to herald Guoson Mall opening

GuocoLand (China) Limited (GLC) will open Beijing Guoson Mall in Guoson Centre with a series of green panda-themed events at Dongzhimen, in Dongcheng district, on May 15.
GLC adopted a panda at the China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda in Sichuan Province's Wolong reserve on April 9.
"Our aim is not only to provide eco-friendly buildings to people in China, but also to protect our environment and create awareness among the public," said Violet Lee, group managing director of GuocoLand China.
The center's 40,000 square meters includes a park that will be accessible to the public for free.
