Decoder thieves nabbed

Xicheng police caught two thieves who used an electronic key signal decoder near Xinjiekou on Saturday night to rob a car, the Legal Mirror reported Sunday.
The car's owner, surnamed Cao, found that 1,300 yuan ($199.76) was stolen, yet the doors appeared untouched.
A suspect confessed he bought the decoder online. Such decoders can only procure the needed codes within a certain range, police said, advising drivers to be wary.
