Kingfisher teams up with AA

Kingfisher Airlines is entering into a codeshare and frequent flyer alliance with American Airlines (AA), according to a report in Travel Daily Asia. The partnership is expected to begin come 2011 and will allow AA to place its code on Kingfisher domestic flights beyond New Delhi, as well as on the London Heathrow leg to New Delhi and Mumbai. In turn, Kingfisher will place its code on AA s New Delhi-Chicago flights as also selected flights between the USA and London Heathrow.
Members of Kingfisher s King Club and AAs AAdvantage will earn miles on the codeshare flights.
