AirAsia Berhad has posted an overall 34% growth for the quarter ending September 30, 2010. Notwithstanding a relatively slow third quarter on account of the month of Ramadan, the company nevertheless witnessed a three per cent rise in load factor, according to a report in eTravel Blackboard.
Malaysia AirAsia (MAA) reported ancillary numbers increased from RM36.2 to RM44.4 per pax; Thai Air Asia (TAA) witnessed a growth from THB185 to THB337 per pax and Indonesia AirAsia (IAA) saw a rise from IDR86,026 to IDR112,822 per pax.
IAA also achieved a 226% rise in profit after tax of IDR191-million while TAA reported a 231% increase from last year s profits after tax to THB530-million.
