Mobissimo launches Facebook meta-search solution

US-based travel search engine Mobissimo is ready to launch a flight meta-search solution with Facebook. This will allow the integration of their travel inventory and booking page within Facebook without the need to build applications.
Mobissimo partners will in turn be provided with a Facebook travel search protocol, deploying a proprietary system with direct connects to airline, hotel, car rental and travel agency websites. By accessing the search tab on the Mobissimo Facebook page, the end user will have an option of 172-websites to explore, according to a report in eGlobal Travel News.
