Qianye Meadow – Brief Introduction
Qianye Meadow located along the Fangdou Mountain Range of Shizhu County of Chongqing Municipality. It is 34 meters away from Xituo Ancient Town (established in Ming-Qing Dynasties) of Yangtze River port. There are other attractions such as Shibao Village, Fengdu Ghost City near by Qianye Meadow.
The average altitude of Qianye Meadow is 1300 meters with a wide and flat area. It covers a total coverage area of 6000 hectare. There are many scenery resources including 10 thousand mu of Clint, 10 thousand mu of Pyracantha, 10 thousand mu of Cryptomeria fortunei, 10 thousand mu of pasture. (1 mu ≈ 0.07 hectare). Qianye Meadow is characteristic of mountains, forests, grasslands, rocks and livestock. All of which shows the inartificial and magnificent natural scenery to human beings.
When tourists walk, or run in Qianye Meadow with the green world, you will enjoy the oriental amorous feelings.
Qianye Meadow – History
Qianye Meadow was a pasture of beef cattle base of Southern China and situated in Fangdou Mountain Range in Shizhu County in Chongqing Municipality with a grand and flat grass land. It covers a total area of 600 hectare. Qianye Meadow features the sceneries of Southern China but also characteristic of the typical Karst geology. The unique landscape attracts many tourists to visit.
There are full of green trees and grass, cattle and sheep, besides the thick forests and fowls. Qianye Meadow also covers four of large resources: 10 thousand mu of Clint, 10 thousand mu of Pyracantha, 10 thousand mu of Cryptomeria fortunei, 10 thousand mu of pasture. (1 mu ≈ 0.07 hectare).
Qianye Meadow – Facility
There are many amusement facilities in Qianye Meadow Scenery Spot such as Yankou leisure service reception area, the national sport area, sightseeing area and experience area of folk custom of Tujia minority and so on. Many specialty projects have been planning to construct such as bullfight arena, sunbathe area in lawn, leisure suite and racecourse and so on.
Qianye Meadow – Attraction
Consists of unique natural landscape and cultural landscape such as the garden spot of Pyracantha, Pyracantha Mountain and Pyracantha maze, Qianye Meadow attracts tourists to enjoy the incredible scenery. When you walk in Qianye Meadow or run here, you will see the groups of cattle and sheep after the wind blows through the pasture. It is the unique grassland beauty.
Pyracantha Landscape
From May to July, the Pyracantha blooms all over the meadow. Because the color of Pyracantha is white, the whole meadow looks like covering by snow.
From September to October, the fruit of Pyracantha will be mature. Because the color of the fruit is red, the whole meadow looks like reviving in the fire. The fruit will be picked last to next spring.
Clint Landscape
There are full of fantastic rocks and stones, strange Clint and stalagmites in Qianye Meadow.
When you have a look from distant place, the groups of stone forest look like the large spoondrifts of the sea.
