Board Chairman Zhan Chunxin is honored as "Top 10 Creative Characters for 30th Anniversary of China's Reform and Opening-up"

On December 20^th of 2008, 100 economic series standings awards ceremony of 30-year-anniversary of China's reform and opening-up was held at Great Hall of the People in Beijing; with 30 years reform and opening-up, a total of more than 500 eminent persons from all walks of life of the community attended. Zoomlion board chairman Zhan Chunxin, is elected as "Top 10 Creative Characters for 30^th Anniversary of China's Reform and Opening-up."

Launched and hosted by "China Economic Weekly" of People's Daily, assisted by People's Daily Overseas Edition and People's Network, jointly with 30 well-known national media launching "Hundred people listed in 30-year reform and opening up of Chinese economy". "Influence", "driving force" and "creativity" are the standards; on the basis of candidates recommended by experts, hundreds of thousands of netizens and readers of China's Economy Weekly cast their votes; finally the winners were selected through one year. Accreditation Panel are formed by Professor from Peking University, Director Wang Qi from China Brand Research Center, Director Wang Xiaoguang from Economic Situation Research Office of the Macro-economic Research Institute under the National Development and Reform Commission, and Chief Editor Yu Wei from Sohu.com, including 40 authority of scholars from domestic and abroad, and media leaders and celebrities.

On the same day, the central ministries and national leaders, assessment experts attended the award presentation; the award-winning 160 Chinese business leaders attended the award. The entire ceremony was broadcast live by People's Network, Sina.com, Sohu.com, ifeng.com and other network media; Xinhua News Agency, People daily, China Central Television, and other 120 news media also focused on the activities.
