Recently, TISCO Stainless Steel Pipe Company successfully produced the world's largest diameter stainless steel seamless steel tube with a size of 325 x 28 mm, weight 0.74 tons, length 3.36 meters in 6,000 tons horizontal extrusion machine. With this TISCO gain a place in world large diameter thick wall stainless steel seamless tube development and production field, which effectively enhanced stainless steel seamless tube extrusion technologies of our country.
The difficulty, speed and elongation coefficient of this production broke the original design limit of existing equipment, which could be considered as the top of global 6,000 tons horizontal extrusion stainless steel seamless tube production. Meanwhile, the breakthrough also laid a solid foundation for further development of high-grade stainless steel and nickel-based alloy varieties of TISCO stainless steel tube, as well as the oil and petrochemical market-expending and stainless steel seamless tube production capacity promoting.
