Representatives of the Workshop of Corruption Prevention for Asian and African Countries Surveyed in Tianjin (Photos)

On December 3, 2008, representatives of the Workshop of Corruption Prevention for Asian and African Countries went to Tianjin via Beijing-Tianjin Intercity Rail for spot surveys. They visited Tianjin Administrative License Service Center to learn the reform of administrative examination and approval system and supervision on administrative efficiency. At the center, Han Qixiang, Deputy Secretary of Tianjin Commission for Discipline Inspection of the CPC and Director of Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Supervision presided over a conference to introduce the economic and social development of Tianjin, the development and corruption prevention work of Binhai New Area to the representatives. Wang Chunzhen, Deputy Director of Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Supervision briefed on the construction and management of the Administrative License Service Center. The representatives also watched the documentary New Leap Forward the Operation of Tianjin Administrative License Service Center.

During the visit, the representatives spoke highly of the achievements of economic and social development and urban construction in Tianjin and fully affirmed the practice of Tianjin in corruption prevention of clear working concept, pragmatic measures, and the achievements in effectively preventing corruption and constructing highly efficient and clean government.

All these efforts greatly boost the rapid economic development. The representatives indicated that they would make earnest researches, learn from the experience and practices in corruption prevention and promote the development of corruption prevention in their respective countries.
