Largest Order Placed in 2010 Central China (Hunan) International Agricultural Expo

The 2010 Central China (Hunan) International Agricultural Expo registered the largest single order with a contracted amount of 100 million yuan on Nov. 21. This purchase and sales contract on high quality rice was concluded between Hunan Jinxia Grain-Circulation Co., Ltd. and Guangzhou Grain Group.

Hunan Jinxia Grain-Circulation Co., Ltd., a leading agricultural enterprise in Hunan, gained a complete success at this agricultural expo. The on-site retail sales of rice and other grain products exceeded 1.1 million yuan in three days since its opening. On Nov. 21, the company signed a contract with the largest Guandong-based grain dealer Guangzhou Grain Group, agreeing to supply Guangdong market with high quality rice worth of 100 million yuan. Meanwhile, it also inked a sales contract on rice with Fujian-based businessmen with the amount totalling 60 million yuan. Therefore, the total amount brought by these two contracts was 160 million yuan, and Qinxiang I, top quality rice produced in Hunan accounted for 17 million yuan. This marks that the high-end Hunan rice will extend its coverage to the markets of Guangdong and Fujian provinces.

As a representative of top quality rice produced in Hunan, Qinxiang I is experiencing rapid development via the agricultural expos. This brand made its debut in the 2008 Central China (Hunan) International Agricultural Expo. At last session of agricultural expo, 300 tons of products were soon snapped up on a trial sale. Besides, the on-site sales expanded to 500 tons and the sales volume to market outside of Hunan province was doubled at this expo.
