Nuer Baikeli Inspects Kashgar
Nuer Baikeli, deputy secretary of CPC XJ Committee, chairman of XJ Uygur Autonomous Region has made inspection over flood control in Kashgar Prefecture. During his inspection from Aug. 9th to 11th, Nuer Baikeli required that, the prefecture should try all out to guarantee people's life and property and minimize their losses.
During the three days, Nuer Baileli went to disaster-hit areas in Kashgar, visited the flood-hit people, and sent materials and money to them. He also visited the water conservancy workers, cardres and mass of all ethnic groups that stick to the front line of flood control.
Presently, the anti-flood situation is still serious. Nuer Baikeli urged the local place to prepare enough anti-flood materials to meet the demand. The monitor, transport, power supply, epidemic prevention and people's relocation work should also be well carried out, to help the disaster-hit people restore their confidence and rebuild their houses.
