2005 Advanced Training Course of In-Land Remote Sensing Was Held in Our University

On the morning of October 10th, 2005 Advanced Training Course of In-Land Remote Sensing was held in our university. This training course was sponsored by ESA and NRSCC and was undertaken by College of Environmental Resources & Tourism of Capital Normal University. This training course is one of the ESA-MOST Dragon Programme, which is one of the largest cooperation plan of Ministry of Science & Technology of China and ESA.13 specialists of Remote Sensing field from ESA and Europe gave lectures and training guide. The 150 students from more than 30 units such as Peking University, Tsinghua University, CAS and etc attended the 6-day s training.
This training course is aimed to promote the academic exchanges and science and technology cooperation in space techniques of Remote Sensing research between Asia and the European, promote the development of Remote Sensing research and its application technology in China and other Asian countries, bring up the reserve of Remote Sensing Information science in our country, and advance the academic status of our university in Remote Sensing Information science.
