Professor Gong Huili is awarded with the academician title of Russia Engineering Academy

On October 14, the delegation of Russia Engineering Academy held a ceremony to award the academician title of Russia Engineering Academy in the International Culture Plaza of our university. Victor F. Kuzin, the director of geology engineering department of the Russia Engineering Academy, awarded Russia Engineering Academy academician certificate to professor Gong Huili on the behalf of Russia Engineering Academy. Russia Engineering Academy awarded four new foreign nationality academicians this year.

Liu Xincheng, the president of our university, presented the ceremony. He introduced the basic situation of our university and expressed the expectation of wider cooperation with Russia Engineering Academy. Academician Kuzin briefly introduced the situation of Russia Engineering Academy and explained the selection process and result of Russia Engineering Academy this year in detail.

On the ceremony, the president Liu Xincheng issued a guest professor engagement letter of our university to Kuzin academician, and signed a cooperation agreement on behalf of our university with Russia Engineering Academy. The vice president Gong Huili, on behalf of the 3D Information Acquisition and Application Laboratory which is the key laboratory of the ministry of education, signed a cooperation agreement with the geology engineering department of Russia Engineering Academy.
