CNU is Participation in the Universities Work Conference on University Project of Shanghai Cooperation Organization

On November 17th, the Universities' Work Conference on the Russian and Chinese Project of Shanghai Cooperation Organization jointly convened by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China and Russian Federation Department of Education & Science was held in Foreign Language Teaching Research Press International Convention Centre. The standing vice president of our university Gong Huili, vice president from the School of Foreign Languages and the dean of Russian Department Sui Ran, Vice Dean of Russian Department Liang Xuemei attended the conference. Principals responsible for the project, contact persons and staff from other 9 Chinese colleges and universities including Peking University, Tsinghua University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Beijing Foreign Studies University, Jilin University, etc which were identified by the Ministry of Education and 5 related higher education institutes from Russia also attended the conference.
Our university is the earliest domestic one which has participated in the construction of Shanghai Cooperation Organization. For more than one year, we have done a lot of preparations with Russian partner universities and provided necessary work documents and materials for the Ministry of Education in advance, which were highly appreciated and appraised.
