In recently, CNR was awarded an order from Ghana for supply 2 sets diesel multiple units. CNR Tangshan Railway Vehicle Co., Ltd. has made out design schema.
There is 947 kilometer railway route in Ghana. In order to raise the transport ability between capital Accra to seaport city Tema, the Ghana Railway decided to bay 2 DMU. The formation of trainset is 2 M + 4 T. The seating capacity is 668 person and the design speed is 80 km/h.
The delivery time will be September 2008.
