Four Organizations Confirmed as the First National High-Skill Talent Cultivation Models

Through the procedures like application, recommendation by CSR and examination by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of China, four organizations, namely CSR Qishuyan Locomotive Co., Ltd., CSR Sifang Locomotive & Rolling Stock Co., Ltd., CSR Meishan Rolling Co., Ltd. and Hunan Railway Professional Technology Institute, were confirmed as the first National High-Skill Talent Cultivation Models of China in recent days.

It is learned that 300 enterprises and 200 institutes of higher learning will be confirmed as such models in two batches across China. In the first batch, 157 enterprises and 92 institutes have been confirmed; and the second batch will be confirmed in 2009.

The objective of building such models is to implement the Opinions of the General Office of CPC Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council on Further Strengthening the Work for High-Skill Talents Zhong Ban Fa [2006] No.15, bring their role into full play in the cultivation of high-skill talents, accelerate the cultivation with an increasing size so as to gradually build a high-skill talent corps suitable for the economic and social development of China.
