Recently, Baoshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. planed to build a heavy plate mill to guarantee the smooth kick-off, production and equipment of the heavy plate project.

5000mm heavy plate rolling mill project is one of the key projects of Baosteel Co., Ltd.'s "tenth five-year plan"under construction, mainly producing pipeline steel, ship building steel, boiler and pressure vessel steel with an annual yield of 1.4 million tons in the first phase. The project is of significant importance in optimizing Baosteel's product mix, enhancing its core competence and satisfying the development of our national economy.
