The Western Cargo Handling Area of Shanghai Pudong International Airport, built by Shanghai Baoye Construction Corp., Ltd.(SBC-MCC) , was completed and put into operation recently. The project has a total area of 2.38 square kilometers.
The project is one of the key components of Shanghai's "Eleventh Five-Year Plan", and is an important pat of Shanghai's international aviation hub. When completed, the entire freight area will become a key supplementary section of the airport, forming an integrated network that links the land, sea and air transportations.
