BERIS Engineering & Research Corp. (BERIS) announced that, the production line of nickel and nickel alloy strip (with an annual output of 5,000 tons), which was independently developed by BERIS for Jinchuan Group Limited (JNMC), was being proceeded well. In December 2010, the thermal-load trial run was successfully undertaken for the smelting and forging workshops under this project. After that the installation and commissioning work were promptly started for the equipment of cold-rolling and hot-rolling production lines. As of February 2011, the thermal-load trial run had been completed respectively for the bright annealing furnace and the 20-roller cold-rolling mill, and commissioning work had been commenced for the other single device.
As a production line featured by the largest output capacity and most advanced equipment in China, this facility was completely designed and developed by BERIS. The engineering scope covers the forging, smelting, hot-rolling, cold-rolling workshops and the other related auxiliary facilities.
