On October 15th, Wang Yajie, deputy director of Yangling Demonstration Zone Administrative Committee, met with Jo Cadilhon, Marketing Officer (Quality Improvement), FAO Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific, further discussing about some details in the preparatory work for the 2009 FAO Regional Agro-industries Forum for Asia and the Pacific which will be held during the 16th China Yangling Agricultural High-tech Fair. Sun Hua, assistant director of Yangling Demonstration Zone Administrative Committee, chief of the Exhibition Bureau, and related officials of International Cooperation Department, Yangling Demonstration Zone attended the meeting.
The Regional Agro-industries Forum for Asia and the Pacific will be jointly held by Shaanxi Provincial People s Government, the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), UN Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) on 3rd -6th , November 2009, Yangling, China. There will be 20 Chinese experts and 100 foreign experts participating.
