View Dongguan from the tallest tower

The new landmark of Dongguan, the Global Trade Plaza (formerly called Taiwan Business Building) is 289 meters tall with 68 floors. It is the tallest building in Dongguan so far and is set to be completed this December.

From the tower, you can enjoy a distant view of the International Exhibition Centre, Huangqi Mountain, Dongjiang River, the City s Central Square, Yulan Theatre, First International Plaza. Even the shape of the sceneries of Shijie and Gaobu townships can be seen on clear days.

Looking out of the tower, housing districts and office buildings will greet your eyes. Looking down, the endless flow of traffic on Dongguan Avenue at the very foot of the tower. Close your eyes and you can hear the low booming of the dredge from the construction site of Dongguan-Huizhou urban light rail system.
