On November 27, Prof. Zhang Xinxin, Vice President of USTB, and Prof. Wang Ge, Director of the International Office, USTB, met with two visiting guests of McMaster University Dr. Luke Chan, Associate Vice-President (International Affairs), and Dr. Allison B. Sekuler, Associate Vice-President and Dean of the Graduate School.
USTB is one of the five universities that the McMaster delegation visited to seek cooperation. In the meeting, the two sides signed an cooperation agreement to strengthen cooperation on students exchange programs on the basis of the state-funded program for overseas graduate study, develop a joint-education program for graduate students, and advocate teachers and scholars exchange.
The cooperation between USTB and McMaster University can date back to 1982. Till 2008, USTB and McMaster University have extended their collaboration to students exchange programs. Six USTB students have been to McMaster University to study through the 3+1 Program.
