On December 2, Prof. Yoshi HADA, President of Okayama University of Science (OUS), and Mr. Zhu Hongbo of the Department of International Affairs of OUS paid a visit to USTB. Prof. Xu Jinwu, President of USTB, met with the visiting guests.
Prof. Xu extended his warm welcome towards the guests and briefed them on USTB s history, disciplinary building, teaching and scientific research and the updates in international exchange and cooperation. Prof. Xu noted that USTB and OUS s resemblance in disciplinary building was the basis of years cooperation since 1987. Prof. HADA then introduced to his counterpart the latest updates in OUS and hoped that this renewal would start a new phase in tangible cooperation between OUS and USTB.
Later after the meeting, Prof. Xu and Prof. HADA signed the cooperation agreement to extend collaboration in students programs, such as students exchange and summer camps, and teacher exchange programs.
