2010 is soon to begin. At the moment of bidding farewell to the old and ushering in the new, a party was held by the International Office at Wanxiu dining hall on December 30th in celebration of the upcoming Year of Tiger. USTB leaders, faculties, foreign teachers and international students from 104 countries gathered together to enjoy a great time.
Chancellor Luo Weidong and President Xu Jinwu extended their warmest regards to all USTB international students, wishing them all the happiness in 2010. Vice President Zhang Yue said on the celebration that USTB had actively participated in international cooperation and fruitful results had achieved through concerted efforts of all faculties and students. And he hoped that 2010 would be another year of success.
International students had treated their audience with a mix of music and dances from different countries. Their joint efforts in the performance infused a hearty dose of excitement at the party, which, in a sense, may be the best way to conclude 2009 and usher in 2010. Along with the enthusiastic performance, gifts had been sent to extend the best wishes for the New Year.
