A delegation headed by Prof. Luis Torre, Vice-Rector of Barcelona Tech UPC, visited USTB on November 16 and exchanged views about future cooperation with USTB presidents.
Prof. Xu Jinwu, President of USTB, briefed the delegation on the latest development of the university and suggested the possible mode of future cooperation.
Prof. Luis Torre said that UPC attached great importance to its cooperation with USTB and hoped to promote further exchange in the fields of electronics and mechanical engineering.
With the highest citable output in the fields of Computer Science and IT, Mechanical, Naval and Aeronautical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Architecture, Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Automatic Control, and Electronic and Communications Technologies, UPC is composed of 10 campuses and regional schools, 24 teaching units, more than 2600 faculty and research staffs and over 30,000 students.
