A delegation headed by Mr. Lee Won Gun academic policy official from Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (South Korea) learned about USTB's educational developments and views on exchange and cooperation between USTB and South Korean universities on December 22.
President Xu Jinwu introduced to the delegation about general information and development strategy of USTB especially detailing on items such as Project 211, university information network construction and quality of undergraduate teaching. Mr. Lee Won Gun said South Korean universities attached great importance and to enhancing bilateral cooperation between Sino-South Korean universities in fields of scientific research, education and student exchange programs.
After the meeting, the delegation visited student dormitories, USTB Exhibition hall and USTB Gym for Olympic games.
