A 3-member LUH (Leibniz University of Hanover) delegation headed by President Balk visited USTB for further cooperation and mutual exchanges on September 15.
On behalf of USTB, President Xu Jinwu extended a sincere welcome to the delegation and had in-depth discussions with Prof. Balk on the framework agreements on mutual cooperation in Student Exchanges, Summer Schools, Scientific Researches and etc. During these talks, Prof. Balk also expressed his sincere hopes to enlarge fields of cooperation. Both sides finally came to an agreement that student exchange programs will open to students majoring in Civil and Environmental Engineering, Chemistry and Mechanical Engineering. They will have opportunities to study in LUH for one year or a semester as exchange students or through other possible channels, and even apply directly for master or doctor degrees.
