International Students Cultural Festival Starts in USTB

With performances of dances, songs and musical instruments of various countries, a nine-day International Students' Cultural Festival kicked off on May 25 in USTB.
The festival features a series of traditional cultural activities and exhibitions of local customs, folk songs, dances, traditional foods, seminars on values of different countries, and International students' sports meeting.
The opening ceremony, which was held in the square of the USTB Gymnasium, attracted the audience with Hawaii dances, Chinese cross talks and beautiful balloons with the country names of the international students. Chancellor Luo Weidong, President Xu Jinwu, Vice President Zhang Xinxin and Zhang Yue, deputies of Embassy of North Korea, Nepal and Algeria in China attended the ceremony.
Exhibitions are held by international students from different countries in separate showrooms to bring the beauty and splendor of their cultures known to every one. In the following week, more activities will come out and all students are expected to take part in the festival.
