Opening Ceremony for New Graduate Students

An opening ceremony was held for the new graduate students of 2010 on September 1.

Tsinghua President Gu Binglin, University Council Chairman Hu Heping, Tsinghua Deputy President Chen Jining, Tsinghua Vice President Zhang Fengchang, Tsinghua Vice President Xie Weihe, Tsinghua University Council Vice Chairperson Han Jingyang, Tsinghua Vice President Yuan Si, Tsinghua University Council Vice Chairperson Shi Zongkai, Tsinghua University Vice Chairperson Deng Wei, and Tsinghua University Vice President Qiu Yong attended the gathering for the more than 4,200 incoming students.

Registration for the graduate students was held on August 31.
