On November 4, 2009, CCTEC Engineering Co., Ltd. (CCTEC) successfully fulfilled trail production of continuous nickel electroplating on broad hot strips of different sizes (with thickness of 0.25-1.2mm and width of 1000-1500mm). For this purpose, CCTEC has made sufficient preparation during the past two and a half months on equipment revamping for the original electrogalvanizing device and research on the related processes and technologies, with a target to make study and development on the function of continuous electroplating and the new cladding. This progress has not only filled the gap of domestic industry in the production technology of continuous high-speed nickel electroplating, but also taken the high added-value products to a higher starting point.
The nickel plated steel strip is featured by the same antisepsis, solderability and electroconductibility with pure nickel strip. Moreover it possesses with unique performances such as deep punching and complicated moldability, which are not acquired by pure nickel strip. The nickel-plate can be tight coupled with the surface of the steel strip, and the steel tube thus made is of high pressure resistance, wear resistance and antisepsis. Such steel tube is deemed to be the best products, as substitute of the stainless steel tube and normal steel tube, for manufacturing of auto parts such as Bundy tube and oil tube. The nickel plated steel strip can be also utilized for production of various battery jars, in this regard, the traditional punch-electroplating technology could be replaced. This has been proved to be a new manufacturing method for battery jar, which will improve the coating uniformity and reduce the production costs.
Product purpose: it can be widely utilized in industries such as household electrical appliances, miscellaneous hardware, instrument, auto, motorcycle, clock, decoration and package, in addition, it also can be used for auto/motorcycle parts (e.g. oil tube, brake pipe and Bundy tube) and battery jar.

Coating thickness: up to various demands of the clients, and both sides can be designed with different thickness.
