In the 42nd Algeria Exposition, instead of the small-scale hall organized by the Chinese delegation, Hisense chose the multinational integrated hall area, putting the Condor-Hisense brand head-to-head with LG, Samsung, and Beko. In the Algeria market, Hisense appeared with the country s largest home appliance brand, Condor, and exhibited a full range of household electrical products, which attracted large local audiences and paved the way for sustainable development in Algeria.
In the morning of June 3, the delegation of the Chinese Business Counselor in Algeria visited the Hisense booth where Hisense s exhibitors gave them a very detailed introduction of Hisense s brand development and promotions in Algeria. The counselor was impressed by Hisense s varying high-end products, while he praised its innovation capability that enabled the company to develop products such as its ultra-thin LED (backlight) LCD TV and its multi-door inverter refrigerators. The counselor then expressed his congratulations to Hisense s achievements in the local market and remarked how Hisense had been ahead of other Chinese brands in brand promotion.
The counselor then proposed that the localized production be increased to ensure Chinese brands are better integrated into the local market. When hearing that Hisense products had been exported from Algeria to Libya and Jordan, he encouraged the expansion of the Hisense brand to the surrounding areas. In particular, he mentioned Togo in West Africa as a potential home appliance distribution center.
