"Dalian Education Forum " opens

November 26, the inauguration ceremony of the Dalian Education Forum & the First Report Meeting was held in Ganjingzi Experimental Primary School. Ma Ruichun, director ofthe Dalian Municipal Bureau of Education, participated in the meeting and made a speech.

In her speech, Ma said that it is an important action by the Dalian Municipal Bureau of Education to build up a learning-oriented Party organization, learning-oriented organs, learning-oriented leadership and learning-oriented cadre ranks; an effective vehicle to establish a good style of study, style of administrative organs & staff, and style of professional ethos. It is of great significance in the improvement of the quality of cadres and their ability to serve society and the people with education.

Ma stressed that, in implementing the National Outline for Medium and Long Term Educational Reform and Development (2010-2020), we noticed that it is going to be an arduous task to develop education rapidly because we are required to prepare with higher ability and better quality. We must, throughthe Dalian Education Forum an effective way and vehicle help all the leaders better understand the situation of Dalian s educational system, better grasp advanced educational theoryand development, constantly absorb new ideas, new knowledge and new skills to open up a new realm, and improve their ability to guide their practice with theory and problem-solving. With various forms such as inviting in , going out and an interactive presentation, we can make it a regular and attractive forum with more and excellent talks, reports, etc.

Ma expects that all the leaders will correct their attitude toward learning, explore ways for better learning and enrich learning content by using this platform and vehicle, so as to improve their ability and quality, and to make their contribution to the sound and rapid development of Dalian s education.

Principal Li Wei of Ganjingzi Experimental Primary School gave the first report at the Forum. With the theme of adhering to the frontier of the experimental primary school , Li talked about her ideas, experience and achievements in running her school.

Before the meeting, participants were shown the school. Ai Hua, vice governor of Ganjingzi District, accompanied them on the visit. Other leaders from Dalian Municipal Bureau of Education, Zhang Pengyue, Zhao Yubao, Lv Xiuying and Liang Zhenlin, relevant leaders from Ganjingzi Bureau of Education, staff from the Dalian Municipal Bureau of Education, and deputy leaders from organizations directly under the Dalian Municipal Bureau of Education, were present at the Forum.
