Jinzhou New Area 2011 DPF Work Conference held

On March 1, Jinzhou New Area 2011 DPFWork Conference was held at JinshanHotel. Leaders from Dalian DPF and Jinzhou DPF,leaders-in-charge from 20 neighborhoods, chairmen of the DPF,full-time members and staff of the district DPF organs, labor service agencies and training centers took part in the conference, which was presided overby Yang Lijuan, vice chairwoman of Jinzhou DPF.

At the conference, Yang Shumin, chairwoman of Jinzhou DPF, delivered a work report on behalf of Jinzhou DPF; Zhongchang Neighborhood and Wanli Neighborhood introduced their practices and experiences; three vice chairmen of the DPF detailed new tasks they are in charge of.

In recent years, Jinzhou New Area DPF has made significant progress in the field of handicapped utilities. They have strengthened the system of social security and services for the disabled in order to improve their quality of life and GNH, to effectively safeguard their legitimate rights and interests and to help fully display their spirit of self-reliance; they have reinforced team building, accomplished all the tangible things they promised to do for the disabled, made new breakthroughs in the area of training and employment, gave a steady push to rehabilitation, worked harder in helping the poor and achieved more in propaganda and activities. In 2010, Jinzhou New Area DPF was awarded as a provincial model unit for its services in the employment of disabled groups, and a District of Cataract Accessibility nationwide. Dalian Daily has repeatedly reported their deeds, and leaders of CDPF have fully affirmed their achievements in the field of handicapped utilities.

Yang put forward specific requirements for the targets and tasks of 2011: they will take the improvement of livelihood for the disabled as the core cause of the disabled, identifying 2011 as the Year of Improvement of People s Livelihood , targeting the implementation of the Project of "Ten Hundred and Ten Million", the promotion of 5 ones and the accomplishment of five 100%s ; they will focus on 5 aspects: first, lay a solid foundation for the team building and management of service facilities; second, highlight two main lines of skills training and job placement; third, offer better services in rehabilitation of and caring for the disabled; fourth, pay close attention to the disables basic living conditions and needs; fifth, work hard at propaganda and safeguard the rights of the disabled.

Xiang Xuelin, deputy inspector of Dalian DPF, was at the conference and made a speech. He spoke highly of Jinzhou DPF s achievements in the field, encouraged staff to challenge difficulties with an enthusiastic spirit and a pragmatic work style, speeding up the development to realize a new leapfrog in the field of handicapped utilities and making positive contributions to the progress and harmony of economic society.
