There is strong enough demand for enterprise employment and an adequate supply of human resources in Jinzhou New Area so as to allow a stable situation for employment. From a survey on the demand for human resources in 100 key enterprises, 42 of them need help, with a total demand for 3,687 employees, 14,713 fewer than the same period last year. Of them, 3,375 are needed as operators, 91.54% of the total demand; 252 technicians, 6.83% of the total; and 60 as administrators, 1.63% of the total. Compared with the same period last year, there is slightly more demand for technicians and administrators, and some decline for operators, which still account for 91.54% of all positions. At 25 job fairs this year, 632 enterprises provided 22,362 jobs to 37,800 job hunters; compared with the numbers in the same period of last year, enterprises participating in the fairs was 2% more, providing 10% more job hunters with 30% fewer jobs; from the job bulletins, we noticed that 835 need hands with 17,579 jobs; the number of enterprises decreased 5%, while the number of, jobs increased by 22%.
To ensure enterprises employment, Jinzhou New Area has improved its services and taken a series of effective measures. First, they conducted a survey on the demand for human resources in 100 key enterprises before the Spring Festival to get the necessary data; second, they have strengthened the management of human resources since last year and improved and adjusted the management of the use of resource areas and enterprise recruitment outside Dalian, reinforcing flexibility and maneuverability. They have paid return visits to 50 resource areas they have established links with, organized enterprises to hold special job fairs and employment seminars, invited competent departments of labor export of the resource areas to the New Area for connection with enterprises needing hands, and paved the way for enterprise employment next year; third, they have held on-sitejob fairs and weekend job fairs, offering personalized services such as headhunting, commissioned or online recruitment in order to meet demands of enterprises for different levels of personnel.
