Professor Dr. Brian Evans of Alberta University Visited HZU

On 16th and 17th November, Dr. Brian Evans, the Honorary Professor of Alberta University of Canada, and Professor Patricia E Prestwich, visited HZU and gave lectures to teachers and students from Foreign Language Department and Politics and History Department. Lectures were about Foreigners Views on China ( 1964-2000)

Dr. Brian Evans was once appointed as the second cultural counselor of the Canadian Embassy in China. He also was employed as Senior Research Scientist by ChineseAcademy of Social Sciences as he has a profound research on Chinese culture and history. Their lectures were popular with teachers and students.

In this April, Dr. Brian Evans was appointed as visiting professor of HZU. Their visit this time received warm welcome from the party committee secretary Mr. Li Xiufeng and HZU President Yang Haitao.
