Dr. Gerhard Mammen , Chancellor of Hochschule Ansbach, Germany and his party paid a visit to SDUST on October 19th. SDUST President Wang Chunqiu and Vice-President Jin Fengxiang met with the delegation.
Wang Chunqiu welcomed the German guests. He said that fruitful results in bilateral cooperation had been attained through joint efforts. Dr. Mammen's visit proved to be significant to future cooperation between the two institutions. President Wang hoped that the scope of cooperation for student education could be extended to faculty exchange and joint cultivation of postgraduates on the present platform.
Chancellor Mammen expressed his appreciation for the present momentum. He thanked SDUST for sending qualified students to Ansbach, saying that as "friendship ambassadors", SDUST students contributed to China-Germany cultural and economic exchanges. And he also offered suggestions for future bilateral cooperation.
Present at the meeting were senior staffs from SDUST's Department of Teaching Affairs, the International Office, and College of Economics and Management.
