On 22nd September, the French delegation conducted by the officers from Scientific Departemnt of French Ambassy in Beijing has paid a visit to our university. Vice president of ZFU, Mr Fang Wei has attended the meeting, as well as the directors of Agriculture and food science, school of Forestry and Boitechnology, School of Engneering, and International Office.
Mr Fang has given the welcome speech and a brief introduction of ZFU to our guests. Mr Xavier Herent introduced the members of the delegation. Mrs Laurence GALAUP, the representative of Qualitropic, a compatative cluster from Reunion Island, Mr Bernard Benayoun, the president of Phytorem, and Mr Jean Luc Kouyoumji, engneer of FCBA from France have given the presentations separately. Professor Yao Wenbin from ZFU has given a short presentation about a new research on rela bamboo fiber.
The discussion focused on the the processing, utilization and exploitation of bamboo and its products. Besides, the delegation also expected a further corporation between two sides.
