President Hu Visited Zhejiang Foreign Aid Medical Team in Mali

On February 13, 2009, Mr. Hu Jintao, President of China, visited Zhejiang Foreign Aid Medical Team aiding to the Republic of Mali, during his state visit to Mali. This medical team was composed by medical workers from ZhejiangProvince, 4 of whom were doctors from affiliated hospitals of WenzhouMedicalCollege.

President Hu, accompanied by Mr. Amadou Toumani Toure (ATT), President of Mali, arrived at the KoutialaHospital to inaugurate the MalariaTreatmentCenter, which was the thirteenth malaria Treatment CenterChina had established in Africa.

During his following visit to the station of Zhejiang Medical Team, President Hu met and shook hands with each member, and highly praised all the members who gave up comfortable life at home and devoted themselves as emissaries to developing the friendship between Chinese and Malian people.
