On 23rd, September, Mr. Renny Khan, Director of International Program from Faculty of Agricultural, Life and Environmental Sciences, University of Alberta, has paid a two days visit to ZFU. President Zhou Guomo has met with Mr. Khan, and had a friendly discussion.
Directors of the School of Agriculture and Food Science, School of Forestry and Biotechnology, and International Office attended the discussion. President Zhou made a brief introduction of our university. A in-depth discussion has been carried out on enhancing the program of credit articulation, launching short-term courses, exchanging faculties. Furthermore, a substantial communication on introducing the courses to each other has been made.
In the afternoon, Mr. Renny Khan has paid a visit to the School of Tea Culture, and discussed the possibilities of starting courses related to Tea Culture in University of Alberta. He also met the Director of the School of Economics and Management, discussed the similarities of disciplines in both universities, in order to achieve the target of sending more student to University of Alberta in the future.
The visit of Mr. Renny Khan has established a solid foundation to broaden the corporation between University of Alberta and ZFU.
