On September 9, Mr. Richard A. Lidinsky, Chairman of the US Federal Maritime Commission visited SMU. Prof. Yu Shicheng, SMU President met the visitors.
Mr. Richard A. Lidinsky gave a brief introduction about the US Federal Maritime Commission and exchanged views on issues of shipping supervision and control in both China and US. Mr. Lidinsky said that although they just payed a short visit, they had a good understanding about SMU and hoped to strengthen ties with SMU in the future.
