Schneider-SMU Strategic Cooperation Signed

On November 17, a group of delegates from Schneider Electric headed by Mr. Albert KAN, Vice President of Global Marine Service and Mr. Kippy YE, Energy Ambassador and Vice President of Schneider Electric China visited Shanghai Maritime University. Prof. Yu Shicheng, President of SMU, Prof. Jin Yongxing, SMU Vice President and heads of departments concerned warmly received the guests.

Schneider Electric and SMU signed a strategic cooperation agreement, according to which, both parties agreed to launch the International Marine Energy Management and Security System Research & Design Center , to establish a Joint Marine Energy Management and Security System Lab, to organize international workshop on marine energy management and security technical, and to work together to promote exchanges of personnel.

After signing the agreement, Mr. Albert KAN, Mr. Kippy YE issued the Schneider Electric Scholarship to 15 excellent undergraduate and postgraduate students selected from SMU Logistics Engineering College.
