SMU Delegation Visits China Merchants Group

On November 10, SMU delegation headed by SMU President Yu Shicheng visited the headquarter of China Merchants Group.

President of China Merchants Group Mr. Li Jianhong, Vice President Mr. Hu Zheng and Mr. Su Xingang warmly received SMU delegation.

President Li reviewed the long-term cooperation between China Merchants Group and Shanghai Maritime University and he hoped that both sides would expand areas of cooperation and establish an ever closer relationship in market strategy, logistics technology, personnel training and shipping history research.

SMU President Yu Shicheng said, as a pioneer of Chinese national industry and commerce, China Merchants Group had joined hand in hand with SMU in many pragmatic research projects. SMU would continue to contribute to the prospects of China Merchants Group and also hope to gain further support from it.

Both sides achieved a preliminary agreement on future cooperation.
