Three SMU Teachers Awarded at National Transportation and Technology Conference

The National Transportation and Technology Conference was held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province from October 28 to 29. Mr. Li Shenglin, Minister for Transport attended the meeting, awarded prizes for the prize-winners and delivered an important speech. Prof. Xiao Baojia, SMU Vice President and over 200 representatives from Ministry of Science and Technology, the Civil Aviation Administration of China, State Postal Bureau, Communications Department of various provinces and municipals, enterprises and institutions, universities and research institutions participated in the conference.
During the conference, Ministry of Transport rewarded the teams and individuals who made great achievements in the technological innovation and management in transportation industry.
Prof. Shi Chaojian from SMU Merchant Marine College and Prof. Wang Chuanxu from SMU Economics and Management College were awarded with Excellent Scientific and Technical Personnel in Transportation Industry. Prof. Yang Yongsheng, head of science and technology department was awarded with Excellent Scientific and Technical Management Personnel.
