Famous Biologists Came to the College of Life Science

From June 9th to 14th, invited by the College of Life Science, four famous biologists made academic lectures to students.
On June 9th, Professor Chengdao Li, Senior research officer of Department of Agriculture, Government of Western Australia, and expert in molecular geneticist and barley breeder made a lecture named Barley Beta-amylase: QTL, Gene, Protein and Malting Quality and expressed his the research cooperation intent. On June 12th, , professor Parris from Ohio University and well known for his study in microbiology , immunology and dedicament genetics gave lecture of Identification of HSV-1 suppressor(s) of interference RNAs . On June 13th , Professor Bisaro, professor of virus genetics and associate editor of an international leading journal Virology made a lecture named Silencing suppression by geminivirus proteins. On June 14th , professor Pei Zhenming from Duke University gave a lecture of Plant Calcium Channels.
After lectures, those famous experts made academic exchange with faculty and students of the college.
