On the afternoon of April 24, three experts from American Association for Computing Machinery Distinguished Speakers Panel (ACMDSP) were invited to the "Always Top" forum and presented the students wonderful speeches at the Lecture Hall of South Campus Library, SCUT. Responsible personnel from the School of Computer Science & Engineering and Guangdong Key Laboratory of Computer Network attended the activity as well.
At the forum, Prof. Tracy Camp from Department of Mathematics and Computation Science, Colorado College of Mines; Prof. Francine Berman, director of Santiago Supercomputer Center of America; as well as Prof. Justine Cassell, director of Techniques and Social Behavior Studies Center, Northwestern University, delivered a lecture respectively on the integration of data, wireless network sensor, and human-computer interaction.
It is known that the American ACMDSP has been inviting avant-gardes and innovators in the field to give lectures for the past two decades. As the most valuable transcendent project of ACM, DSP has provided branched associations of ACM and their members with various professional background knowledge of computer science.
