SCUT signs Undergraduate Exchange Agreement with Dalian University of Technology

On the morning of Nov. 20, a delegation from Dalian University of Technology (DLUT), led by LI Zhiyi, its Vice President, visited SCUT and had a talk with SCUT on the exchange of undergraduate for joint training in two universities. Vice President QIU Xueqing cordially met received.

At the meeting, Qiu, on behalf of SCUT, signed the "SCUT-DLUT Agreement on the joint training of undergraduate students" with Dalian University of Technology. After consultation, two sides have decided that beginning from Nov, 2010, they will mutually send 30 undergraduates to the other side to have one semester or 6 months' academic study on 4-6 advantageous disciplines.

The two sides also had an in-depth communication on their respective discipline characteristics, personnel training mode reform and inter-university cooperation mode. After the meeting, the delegation visited the South Campus of SCUT.
